Students from St. Francis Xavier School, the Parish School of Religion and Life Teen programs are pleased to participate in Youth Stewardship. Each curriculum includes the importance of the youths’ understanding of stewardship. The participation in Stewardship is yet another habit forming practice that is a part of our children’s religious formation. In addition, their prayer life, Mass attendance and reception of the sacraments are examples of a healthy, spiritual lifestyle parents strive to instill in their development.
Commitment Cards are used to allow the youth to thoughtfully consider how they can use their Talents to help others. How much of their Time is spent in prayer or talking to God? Finally, envelopes are available for the youth. However, the purpose of the envelopes is not solely for their financial donation. Rather, spaces for “Time” and “Talent” allow the youth to reflect on how they used these gifts during the previous week. A summary of each weekend’s collection is posted in the bulletin.
If your child has not received his/her envelopes or Commitment Card, please call Erin Grace at 330-725-4968 ext. 102 for further information
