St. Francis Xavier Church’s Stewardship efforts are spear headed by the pastor and fellow parishioners. The Stewardship Committee’s Mission Statement is to enhance the spiritual vitality of the parish by inviting parishioners to commit themselves to prayer, service and financial support of the parish. Some of the tenets of that mission include:
- A call to discipleship
- An awareness of the changing paradigm of stewardship. “Need to give, rather than giving to a need.”
- Reaching out to those not currently engaged with our parish
- Facilitating ministries
- Instilling stewardship in all aspects of parish life
- Evangelization
The Committee meets monthly and focuses on strategies that will lead to an increased awareness and understanding of the message of Stewardship at St. Francis Xavier Church. Topics and goals such as communication, ongoing education and the Stewardship Renewal Campaign are addressed.
Committee members serve a three year term with an option to serve a second term. The following parishioners serve on the Stewardship Committee:
Rev. Tony Sejba, Pastor, Erin Grace, Director of Stewardship, Mark Bachmann, Chairman, Beth Bugner, John Caruso, Mike Chomanics, Tom Corall, Julie Gaume, Jennifer Malynn, Ann Salek, Angela Sass, Jennifer Webb.
